As members of the 1764 Society, Alexandra Steel Scott '04 and Charlotte Steel '09 believe that alumni participation and consistent support have the greatest impact on current students. They choose to give back to Brown by motivating their classmates and other young alumni to make yearly gifts through the Annual Fund.

Giving to Brown through the Annual Fund allows Barbara to maintain a connection with Brown and give back to a school that gave so much to her: preparation for a great career, long-lasting friends, and the educational experience of a lifetime. Barbara has given through the Annual Fund for over 25 consecutive years and is recognized as a longstanding member of the 1764 Society.
