Brown University parents have a strong tradition of philanthropy to the University, both while their children are studying at Brown and after they have graduated. In August of 2011 the Princeton Review ranked Brown students as some of “the happiest” in the nation. Their parents’ generosity, in turn, positioned Brown’s Parents Annual Fund as one of the most successful parents’ funds in the Ivy League. Donors to the Parents Annual Fund provided gifts which were put to work immediately to sustain Brown’s academic excellence and ensure that all students have access to an outstanding education. The generosity of parents enriches all Brown families, making a first-rate education available to each and every student.
